Locum CRNA – Bread and Butter Cases | No OB, Neuro, or Cardiac in PA

Job description

We’re seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens assignment providing anesthesia services for a wide variety of general surgical cases. This is a Monday–Friday, full-time role with a focus on routine procedures — no OB, neuro, or cardiac cases required.

The practice utilizes the EPIC EMR system, and CRNAs will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient anesthesia care in a supportive and professional environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments

Obtain and verify patient consent

Discuss anesthetic plans, options, and risks with patients

Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

Monitor and evaluate patient physiological status

Perform clinical interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes

Requirements:

Active RN license

Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program

Current certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
