CRNA Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania

Job description

A healthcare system in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania is seeking a CRNA for an immediate, ongoing locum tenens assignment. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity with a mix of independent and team-based practice settings.

Assignment Details:

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months
Schedule: 2–3 shifts per week (PRN coverage)
Tyrone: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM
Huntingdon: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Patient Volume: <20 patients per day
Patient Population: Primarily adult with occasional pediatric ENT cases (pediatric anesthesiologist available for those cases)

Practice Setting:

Hospital-based care across two facilities:
Critical access hospital (25 beds) – predominantly solo, non-medically directed practice
Community hospital (71 beds) – anesthesiologist-supported model
EMR: Cerner
Case Mix: General, orthopedics, ophthalmology, GYN, ENT, and plastics

Additional Details:

Regional anesthesia experience (spinals, peripheral nerve blocks) is preferred but not required
Supportive environment with flexibility in scheduling

Requirements:

Board Certified CRNA
Active Pennsylvania license
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
Minimum Experience:
2+ years OR
At least 1 year of independent practice experience

Credentialing:

Fast credentialing available – temporary privileges in as little as 1–2 weeks for clean files
