Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Location: Hazleton, Pennsylvania
Schedule: Full-Time Clinical Coverage with Optional Home Call
Start Date: June 2026

Schedule
Flexible scheduling options include:
5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Additional details:
Full-time coverage preferred
Sporadic availability will also be considered
Optional second-call coverage from home if residing within 30 minutes of the facility

Practice Details
Approximately 2,600 annual surgical cases
150-bed hospital
Care Team Model
Two operating rooms
Two CRNAs onsite, each managing their own room
Supervising anesthesiologist available for blocks and emergency support
EMR: Epic (preferred experience)

Case Mix:
General Surgery
Orthopedics
Urology
Gynecology
Gastroenterology
Podiatry
Hand Surgery
Joint procedures including knees and hips

Not required:
Cardiac
Neurosurgery
Trauma
Head cases
Pediatrics

Qualifications:
NBCRNA Certification required
Active Pennsylvania license required
Pennsylvania CSR required
DEA required
ACLS required
PALS required
Minimum 2 years of experience preferred

Community hospital setting
Collegial anesthesia team
Independent case management with physician backup available when needed
Consistent surgical volume with a predictable case mix
