Description:
We are seeking a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time locum tenens opportunity at an outpatient surgery center in Hanover, Pennsylvania. This assignment offers consistent weekday scheduling with no call responsibilities and the opportunity to provide anesthesia services across a variety of surgical specialties.

The ideal candidate will have experience providing anesthesia care for both pediatric and adult patients and be comfortable working in a collaborative anesthesia care model with a strong focus on orthopedic cases.

This opportunity is based in an outpatient surgical center featuring four operating rooms and a multi-specialty surgical environment.

The facility provides anesthesia services for a wide range of procedures, including high-volume orthopedic cases. Providers work within a medical direction model with a 1:3 anesthesia care ratio.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide anesthesia care for pediatric and adult surgical patients.
Manage anesthesia services for outpatient procedures across multiple specialties.
Support orthopedic surgical cases, including high-volume orthopedic procedures.
Collaborate within a medical direction anesthesia care model.
Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures.
Ensure safe and effective anesthesia delivery according to patient needs.
Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation.
Provide anesthesia coverage for approximately 6–15 patients per day based on room assignment.

Qualifications:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required.
Active Pennsylvania CRNA license required.
ACLS certification required.
BLS certification required.
PALS certification required.
Board certification as a CRNA required.
Must be able to work full-time weekday coverage.
Credentialing timeframe is typically 90 days, with possible expedited credentialing options.

Working Hours:
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week
Shift Length: 8-hour shifts
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Coverage: 40 hours per week
