Facility:
This is a large, academic medical center and Level 1 trauma facility offering a comprehensive range of surgical services including general, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, robotic surgery, gynecology, and ENT procedures. The facility operates with strong anesthesia team support, with other anesthesia providers present during coverage and a medical direction model with a 2:1 or 3:1 CRNA to anesthesiologist ratio.

Job Details:
- Provide anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical specialties including general, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics (ages 5 and up), endoscopy, NORA, robotic surgery, gynecology, and ENT
- No cardiac, OB, or regional block cases required
- Assess, prepare, and manage patients for anesthesia care throughout the perioperative and procedural period
- Develop and implement individualized anesthetic plans for each patient
- Perform history and physical examinations, obtain informed consent, and conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and post-operative assessments
- Administer General, Spinal, and Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) as needed
- Perform invasive monitoring and placement including CVP/CVC and intra-arterial lines
- Manage airway as appropriate for the care setting
- Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues
- Perform central line and arterial line placements
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience, with that experience confirmed prior to completion of credentialing
- References must be provided upfront at time of submission
- IMLC not accepted - active PA license required
- Shift options available: 10-hour shifts (8:30am-7pm) or 12-hour shifts (6:30am-7pm, with 7am start on Thursdays)
- No call requirement
- Providers must clock in and out for lunch - lunch hours are not included in shift compensation
- All overtime must be approved by department administration in advance
- No guaranteed hours
- Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days; facility does not offer temporary privileges
- DEA license not required for CRNAs practicing in Pennsylvania
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
