Position Overview:
A medical center in West Columbia, South Carolina is seeking a Cardiac CRNA for a 1099 assignment working exclusively with a dedicated cardiac anesthesia team. This opportunity offers a consistent full-time schedule, manageable call requirements, and exposure to a broad range of complex cardiac and thoracic procedures.

Assignment Highlights:
• 100% Cardiac / Cardiothoracic Surgery
• 4x10 schedule with guaranteed full-time hours
• Dedicated cardiac anesthesia team
• Care team model (not independent practice)
• Travel candidates only (50-mile radius rule applies)
• 3-month contracts considered, 6-month commitment preferred
• Facility willing to license providers with a Compact License

Schedule:
• 40-hour work week required
• Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday
• Must be available all 4 weeks each month
• No part-time availability

Call Requirements:
• One evening call shift per week
• One weekend call shift approximately every 6 weeks
• Evening call callbacks are typically minimal
• Weekend call volume ranges from none to approximately two callbacks

Practice Setting:
• Hospital Medical Center
• Level III Trauma Facility
• Dedicated Cardiac Anesthesia Service

Case Mix Includes:
• CABG Procedures
• Valve Replacements & Repairs
• Aortic Root Procedures
• Pericardial Windows
• Thoracic / Lung Cases
• Laser Lead Removals
• Rib Platings
• Small ECMO Program

Clinical Environment:
• 2–5 cardiac cases per day
• Collaborative care team model
• CRNAs do not place arterial lines or central lines
• CRNAs do not place, remove, or interpret TEE studies
• Strong physician support and dedicated cardiac team structure

Work Details:
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• CRNA Board Certification Required
• Active South Carolina license or Compact License required
• No cardiac-specific certifications required

Credentialing Timeframe:
• Approximately 60–90 days
