Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Locum Tenens
Employment Type: 1099 Locum Tenens
Location: Knoxville, TN
Start Date: October 27, 2025
Length: 13 weeks (with potential to extend)

Schedule & Coverage

Day shifts only – no call

Willing to discuss shift options:
• 3×13s
• 4×10s
• 5×8s

Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Case Mix & Practice Details

30 ORs including 3 CV rooms, 1 hybrid room, EP lab, cysto/ESWL, and L&D suites

CRNAs perform spinals in main OR and cardiac cases (TEE done by anesthesiologists)

All case types except transplants: general, cardiac, ortho, neuro, bariatric, GYN, urology, vascular, EP, endoscopy, robotic cases

OB covered separately by dedicated CRNA team

Occasional healthy peds, mostly at Parkwest Surgery Center (5 ORs)

ENT surgery center on Parkwest Blvd opening soon

Systems & Credentials

Facility type: Acute Care Hospital

Trauma level: Not specified

Not open to licensing – must hold active Tennessee license

Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS

EMR: Epic

Travel & Lodging

Facility reimburses for reasonable lodging, mileage, or car rental
