WHAT YOUR DAY/WEEK ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE
You’ll have a consistent Monday-through-Friday workweek with 8-hour shifts. Providers rotate between the earlier 7 AM–3 PM shift and the later 11 AM–7 PM shift.
The clinical mix centers around bread-and-butter anesthesia with pediatric coverage, averaging roughly 5–12 cases per day depending on volume. You won’t be responsible for hearts, OB, or neuro cases.
🎯 Best Fit
Texas-licensed CRNA with solid pediatric experience who wants a full-time weekday assignment without hearts, OB, or neuro. You’ll need enough scheduling flexibility to rotate between the two available 8-hour shifts.
📍 Geographic Hook
The McAllen/Edinburg area can be an easy place to settle into for a few months, especially if you prefer warm South Texas weather heading into winter. You’ll have plenty of local restaurants and everyday conveniences around the Rio Grande Valley, with South Padre Island also within reach when you have some time off.
