Job description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide locum services at a Level I trauma hospital in Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking high‑acuity cases, flexible scheduling, and long‑term placement potential. Coverage is needed beginning February 2026 for an ongoing contract with potential for an ongoing placement.

🏥 Job Details:

Setting: Acute care hospital, Level I trauma center

Schedule: Day shifts (8, 10, 12, or 16 hours available); Monday–Friday; full‑time required; must be available on Fridays

Coverage: Scheduled shifts only; no call required

Shift Commitment: Full‑time preferred; 40 hours per week guaranteed

Support Services: Medical direction model (loosely supervised)

Patient Population: Adults only; highly complex trauma and surgical patients

Procedures: Neuro, ortho, trauma, general surgery, GYN, endoscopy; no cardiac, OB, or pediatrics

Charting: Epic

📋 Requirements:

Board Certification: Required

License: Active Virginia license required; compact accepted; open to licensing candidates

Experience: Trauma Level I experience preferred; must be comfortable with high‑acuity cases

Charting Experience: Epic preferred

📝 Additional Notes:

Credentialing timeframe: ~75–100 days depending on paperwork completion

Schedule options include 8, 10, 12, or 16‑hour shifts; 5x12s also available

Full‑time availability required; no part‑time or block scheduling

Highly complex patient population in a Level I trauma environment
