Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide coverage across three Virginia hospital locations, including a Level 1 Trauma center and two community hospitals. This role offers a fast-paced, diverse caseload, flexible scheduling, and a supportive care team environment.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: ASAP (January 5, 2026, preferred, open to later starts)
• Contract Length: 1 year (through the end of 2026)
• Locations: Candidate will float between all three sites
• Shift Options: 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts
• Minimum Commitment: 1 shift per week; open to locals or 1–2 weeks per month
• Call Requirements: Must be open to call
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days (emergency credentialing 30–45 days)

Work Details
• Specialty: CRNA
• Practice Environment: Level 1 Trauma and fast-paced hospitals
• Team Support: 30+ anesthesiologists, 70+ full-time CRNAs; care team model 1:4 supervision
• Patient Load: Varies by site; hospital bed size ~700
• Case Mix: Large Vascular, Neuro, High-Risk OB/GYN, Ortho, General, Thoracic; limited Pediatric cases (locums usually do not cover Pediatrics or Open Heart)
• Special Procedures:
o Administer own drugs
o Epidurals, spinals, arterial lines
o Some Obstetrics and Trauma (mostly outpatient surgery)
o Never Brachial Plexus or other regional blocks
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements
• License: Open to Virginia or compact licensing; priority license option is available if all requirements are met.
• Experience: Some Level 1 trauma experience required
• DEA: Not required
• Shift Flexibility: Must be open to floating between locations and call coverage
