Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide long-term coverage within a dynamic, high-acuity health system in Virginia. This opportunity offers exposure to complex cases across multiple facilities, a collaborative care-team model, and scheduling flexibility designed to fit a variety of availability preferences.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: ASAP (January 5, 2026 preferred; open to later starts)
• Location: Floating between three Virginia facilities
• Schedule Options: 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts
• Minimum Commitment: 1 shift per week
• Availability Options: Open to local candidates and providers available 1–2 weeks per month
• Call Requirement: Must be open to call; maximum 1–2 beeper call shifts per month (most likely no call)
• Credentialing: 90–120 days (emergency credentialing possible in 30–45 days)

Work Details
• Specialty: CRNA
• Environment: Fast-paced Level I Trauma experience required
• Practice Model: 100% supervised care team model (1:4)
• Facilities: One Level I Trauma Center and two Community Hospitals
• Hospital Size: ~700 beds
• Daily Volume: Varies by location
• Cases Include: Large vascular, neuro, high-risk OB/GYN, orthopedics, general, thoracic, trauma, and outpatient surgery
• Exclusions: No pediatric or cardiac cases required for locums
• Procedures Performed: Administration of anesthetic agents; epidurals, spinals, arterial lines
• May Perform: Arterial catheters, lumbar epidural catheters, spinal anesthesia
• Will Not Perform: Brachial plexus or other regional anesthesia blocks
• Support Staff: Team of 30+ anesthesiologists and 70+ full-time CRNAs
• EMR: Cerner

• License: Virginia or compact license preferred; open to licensing
• Experience: Prior Level I Trauma experience required
• DEA: Not required
