Locum CRNA – Level 1 Trauma Near Portsmouth, VA

Job description

• Start: ASAP
• Contract Length: 12 months with option to extend
• Schedule: 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts; minimum 1 shift per week
• Availability: Open to locals; open to 1–2 weeks per month
• Call: Must be open to call; beeper call, max 1–2 shifts per month and often no call at all
• Practice Model: 100% supervised care team model, 1 to 4
• Cases: Large vascular, neuro, high-risk OB/GYN, ortho, general, thoracic
• Pediatrics/Hearts: Locums will not be required to do pediatrics or cardiac cases
• Trauma Level: Level 1 trauma experience required; fast-paced environment
• EMR: Cerner
• Coverage: Provider will float between 3 locations
• Credentialing: 90–120 days; emergency credentialing possible in 30–45 days
