Position Overview
Floating coverage across Mary Washington, Stafford, and MW Ambulatory Center

Full‑time required: minimum 36 hours per week

Emergency privileges available to support holiday coverage

Six‑month contract preferred

Schedule released 8 weeks in advance

Overtime paid after the scheduled shift, not after 36 hours

Schedule & Shifts
12‑hour shifts available (7 p.m.–7 a.m.)

Must be able to work full‑time; no part‑time options

Blocks are not guaranteed

Required Clinical Experience
OB and thoracic experience required

Pediatric experience preferred

Level II trauma experience required

CRNAs perform their own spinals and epidurals

No regional blocks performed in this role

Case Types
All cases except transplants

Includes:

Hearts

Lungs

Healthy pediatric dental/ENT

OB

Orthopedics

GI

ENT

Vascular

EP

Heavy OB, thoracic, EP, and vascular volume

Practice Environment
Level II trauma designation

Credentialing includes:

Main OR

4‑OR satellite hospital

6‑OR ambulatory surgery center

Occasional floating required

Pediatric experience preferred for floating assignments

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience

Proficiency in spinals and epidural placement/management

Must be able to work independently within scope

Travel is billable
