Position Overview

A nationally recognized Level I Trauma Center is seeking an experienced CRNA for a 13-week locum assignment with extension opportunities. Providers will practice within a collaborative anesthesia care team covering the Main Operating Room, Outpatient Surgery Center, Endoscopy/GI Center, and off-site anesthesia locations.

* 12 Outpatient Surgery ORs
* 4 GI Procedure Rooms
* 16 Off-site Anesthesia Locations
* Team of 60 CRNAs, 70 Attending Anesthesiologists, and 60 Anesthesia Residents
* Epic EMR
* No Call
* Flexible Scheduling

Responsibilities

* Provide anesthesia care for adolescent and adult patients
* Manage a broad range of inpatient and outpatient surgical cases
* Care for high-acuity (ASA III+) patients
* Collaborate with anesthesiologists, residents, and perioperative staff
* Complete documentation using Epic EMR

Excluded

* Open Heart Surgery
* Complex Thoracic Procedures
* Pediatric Patients (under age 13)
* Obstetric Anesthesia
* Regional & Peripheral Nerve Blocks

Requirements Required

* Active NBCRNA Certification
* Active Virginia CRNA License
* Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience
* Minimum 1 year of Level I Trauma Center or Academic Medical Center experience
* Current AHA BLS and ACLS Certifications
* COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination
* Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
