Job Details:

• On-call beeper shift coverage needed off-site nights (7P-7A) seven days a week, and day beeper call (7A-7P) on Saturdays and Sundays only
• 2-hour minimum call back required if called in
• Flexible PRN coverage opportunity also available
• Providers who pick up Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights will receive lodging at an approved vendor hotel
• Must hold an active Virginia medical license - no out-of-state or IMLC licenses accepted
• Board certification required; estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days
• Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Perform general anesthesia for adult, pediatric, and trauma patients
• Administer spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
• Manage obstetrical anesthesia cases
• Perform neurosurgical anesthesia including head and spine cases
• Handle thoracic cases (excluding open heart) and complex vascular cases
• Manage complex orthopedic cases
• Provide pain management techniques including post-op epidural and extremity blocks
• Perform epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical regions
• Perform transforaminal injections for lumbar and cervical regions
• Manage ventilation and acute volume/BP issues
• Perform central line and PA catheter placement
• CRNA supervision experience required
