Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This position is ideal for providers looking for flexible supplemental income through call-only coverage while enjoying a balanced schedule.

This assignment primarily consists of off-site beeper call, allowing providers to remain off campus until needed for patient care. Weekend lodging is provided for eligible call shifts, making this an excellent opportunity for providers traveling from outside the area.

Job Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia services when called in during assigned call shifts
Respond promptly to callback requests
Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care in accordance with facility protocols
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and perioperative staff
Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards

Weekday Call
Monday through Friday
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Off-site beeper call
Weekend Call
Saturday & Sunday
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Day beeper call)
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night beeper call)

Ongoing coverage
Flexible PRN availability welcomed
Minimum 2-hour callback compensation when called into the facility

Qualifications
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Active Virginia license (or ability to obtain)
Current CRNA certification
BLS and ACLS certifications
Previous anesthesia experience in hospital or surgical settings preferred
Comfortable providing independent, high-quality patient care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
