Certified - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens position requiring 40 hours per week with on-call availability once every 8 weeks
• Active Virginia medical license required
• Board certification required with ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• Provide general anesthesia for adult, pediatric, and trauma patients
• Administer spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
• Manage obstetrical anesthesia cases
• Perform neurosurgical anesthesia including head and spine cases
• Handle thoracic cases (excluding open heart)
• Manage complex vascular cases (excluding open heart)
• Provide anesthesia for complex orthopedic cases
• Apply pain management techniques including post-op epidural and post-op extremity blocks
• Perform transforaminal procedures including lumbar and cervical
• Manage ventilation and evaluation of acute volume and blood pressure issues
• Perform central line and PA catheter placement
• Provide CRNA supervision as required
