Locum CRNA Opportunity | Winchester, Virginia
Zeal Med is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens opportunity in Winchester, Virginia. This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule, a collaborative anesthesia care team, and no call or weekend requirements.
ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW

Location: Winchester, VA

Start Date: October 26, 2026, or as soon as credentialed

End Date: April 23, 2027

Length of Assignment: Approximately 26 weeks, with potential for extension
SCHEDULE

Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday

Typical hours: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Occasional shifts may run from 1:00 PM–11:00 PM

Additional 12-hour shifts may be available

Full-time preferred; two to three weeks per month may be considered

No call or weekends
PRACTICE DETAILS

Anesthesia care team model with anesthesiologist support

Adult patient population

Case mix includes general anesthesia, orthopedics, electrophysiology, endoscopy, and limited obstetrics

Cardiac cases are not included

Spinal and epidural skills preferred

EMR: Epic

Occasional coverage at affiliated surgery centers may be required

REQUIREMENTS

NBCRNA certification

Three to five years of CRNA experience

Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Virginia license preferred; candidates willing to obtain licensure may be considered

Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the assignment location
CREDENTIALING

Temporary privileges may be available in approximately 30 days

Standard credentialing timeline: 60–90 days

Remote Epic training required before the first shift
