TARGET RATE: $230/hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a supplemental assignment supporting endoscopy services at two hospital campuses in Richmond, Virginia.

The facility is expanding its endoscopy services and requires additional CRNA coverage for three rooms daily, Monday through Friday.

Monday – Friday

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

8-hour shifts required

Day shifts only

No 10-, 12-, 16-, or 24-hour shifts.

No overtime expected.

No in-house call.

No weeknight or weekend pager call.

No holiday shifts or call.

COMPENSATION & TRAVEL

Target Rate: $230/hour

Lodging/Housing Stipend

Car Rental/Mileage Stipend

Physician supervision: Yes

MD-to-CRNA ratio: 1:4

Physicians do not perform their own cases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments.

Obtain and verify patient consent.

Discuss anesthetic options and associated risks with patients.

Perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.

Monitor patients' physiological conditions.

Perform clinical interventions as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.

Current CRNA certification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Board-certified CRNA (BCRNA).

Virginia state license preferred. Candidates needing to obtain a Virginia license may be considered.

CREDENTIALING

Estimated privileging timeframe: 90 days.

Emergency privileges may be available in under 30 days.

Temporary privileges may be available within 30–60 days.

ASSIGNMENT DURATION: 44 weeks
