ASSIGNMENT TYPE: Locum Tenens – Supplemental
TARGET RATE: $200/hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a 12-week supplemental assignment at a medical center in Petersburg, Virginia.

Candidates should have experience providing anesthesia services across General, Orthopedic, Obstetric, and Pediatric cases.

SCHEDULE

Shift Options: 8, 10, or 12 hours

Scheduled Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Holiday coverage may be required.

Overtime not expected but may be offered.


COMPENSATION & TRAVEL

Target Rate: $200/hour

Lodging/Housing Stipend

Car Rental/Mileage Stipend

FACILITY DETAILS

EMR: Epic

Physician supervision: Yes

MD-to-CRNA ratio: 1:4

Physicians do not perform their own cases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments.

Obtain and verify patient consent.

Discuss anesthetic options and associated risks with patients.

Perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.

Monitor patients' physiological conditions.

Perform clinical interventions as needed.


REQUIREMENTS

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.

Current CRNA certification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Board certification required.

Candidates needing to obtain a Virginia state license may be considered.


CREDENTIALING

Estimated privileging timeframe: 90 days.

ASSIGNMENT DURATION: 12 weeks
