About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services during day shifts at an operating room facility in Huntington, West Virginia, working 8-hour and 10-hour shifts under a medical direction model with a 1:3 or 1:4 staffing ratio. The department is staffed by 4 MDs and 18 CRNAs, operating with high autonomy and a collaborative MD-CRNA working relationship. A two-layer pager call system covers both MDs and CRNAs; no post-call day off is provided, and call-back occurrences are rare. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians considered for this role.
