Anesthesiologist Needed in California
Target Start Date: April 1, 2026
Contract Length: Ongoing (minimum 5 shifts per month)
Schedule: Day, evening, and night shifts; must be willing to work weekends and nights
Call Details: Weekday and weekend call required (beeper call; remote on weekends)
Practice Details:

Acute care hospital setting
Trauma Level: 3
Procedures: General, adult, pediatric, trauma, spinal, epidural, regional, obstetrical, neurosurgical, thoracic, complex vascular, complex orthopedic, pain management techniques, post-op epidural, post-op extremity blocks, vent management, central line placement, arterial line placement
EMR: Epic
Patient population: Adult and pediatric
Support staff: Yes
Providers requested: 2

Requirements:

Board Certification: Required
Active California License (not willing to license)
Minimum 2 years recent hospital clinical experience in specialty
Must provide current case logs upon presentation
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
DEA: Required
Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days

Location: Eureka, California – travel support available (lodging and mileage reimbursement)
