Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist to provide locum tenens coverage at our acute care facility. The physician will deliver high-quality anesthesia services across a variety of surgical specialties while collaborating closely with surgeons, CRNAs, nursing staff, and perioperative teams.

This is a flexible, temporary assignment ideal for physicians seeking schedule control, competitive compensation, and travel opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC)
Perform pre-operative patient evaluations and obtain informed consent
Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans
Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage postoperative recovery
Respond to emergency airway and trauma cases as needed
Supervise CRNAs (if applicable to facility model)
Participate in call coverage (if required)
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
