Anesthesiologist Needed Near San Francisco, CA
Start Date: June 2026
Contract Length: 26 weeks (ongoing)

Schedule

Weekend and night coverage
Weekend shifts: 12 hours
Night shifts: 16 hours
Providers must be available for 3–4 shifts per month
No call
Credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days


Practice Details

Hospital environment (Level 1 trauma setting)
Coverage includes L&D, ORs, and Trauma
EMR: Epic
Bilingual skills preferred


Clinical Scope
Case responsibilities include:

Full‑scope L&D cases
Trauma anesthesia
OR anesthesia across multiple surgical teams
Standard pre‑op, intra‑op, and post‑op anesthesia management
Airway management, monitoring, anesthetic adjustments

Experience:

Level II trauma experience required
Level I trauma experience highly preferred
New grads considered if trauma‑comfortable

Caseload details to be confirmed.

Requirements

Physician – Anesthesiology
Board Certified, Board Eligible, or Board Expedite accepted
Active California medical license required
California DEA required
BLS required
Experience must include L&D and trauma cases

Additional requirements (must be completed for submission):

CA license verification copy
Board certification or residency completion verification
COVID vaccination status (minimum 3 doses)
All malpractice history disclosed
RTO included in submission
Interview availability included

Medical requirements (facility standard):

TB status
MMR (labs or vaccines)
Hepatitis B (labs or vaccines)
Tdap (lab or vaccine)
COVID‑19 (3 vaccines)
Influenza
Pre‑employment physical (within 3 months, occupational health only)
Ishihara color test
8‑panel drug screen (within 3 months)


Credentialing

Full hospital credentialing
Estimated timeframe: 90–120 days
No emergency privileges offered
