Anesthesiology Opportunity
Location: San Francisco, CA (main site; will float to sister facilities)
Contract Length: 26+ weeks
Coverage: Full time preferred, must be able to commit to at least 2 weeks per month
Setting: Hospital OR and ASC
EMR: Epic
Providers will float between multiple sister facilities including Bayfront, Mt. Zion, Mission Bay, Ortho Institute, Parnassus, and Burlingame. This is not an outpatient-only role. Providers must be comfortable covering both high acuity inpatient and outpatient procedures. No cardiac, liver, or neuro cases.
Practice Details
Recent experience with a mix of inpatient and outpatient surgical cases within the last 2–3 years is required. High acuity experience (ASA 3+) is preferred. Chronic pain–focused practices are not relevant for this role. Providers must have recent solo practice experience and be comfortable primarily working independently in the OR, with occasional CRNA oversight. Regional anesthesia skills are strongly preferred.
Requirements
Board certification required (strong board eligible candidates may be considered, especially fellowship trained)
Active CA license required (not willing to license)
CA DEA with Schedule II/II-N required
AHA BLS and ACLS required
Minimum of 2 years anesthesiology experience
Recent experience at tertiary care centers required
Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60–90 days. The facility will require two references they may contact prior to offer.
