Anesthesiologist Needed near San Francisco, CA
Start Date: As soon as credentialed ~ 90-120 days
Contract Length: 26 weeks (ongoing)

Schedule

Weekend and night coverage
Weekend 24‑hour shifts available (Fri–Sun)
Weeknight shifts also available
Providers must be available for 3–4 shifts per month
No call
Credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days


Practice Details

Hospital environment (Level 1 trauma setting)
Coverage includes L&D, ORs, and Trauma
Approx. 1,800 births/year
Anesthesiologists function as independent practitioners and supervise CRNAs
EMR: Epic
Bilingual skills preferred


Clinical Scope
Case responsibilities include:

Full‑scope L&D anesthesia
Trauma anesthesia
OR anesthesia across multiple surgical services
Standard pre‑op, intra‑op, and post‑op anesthesia management
Airway management and anesthetic adjustments

Experience:

Level II trauma experience required
Level I trauma experience highly preferred
New grads considered if trauma‑comfortable

Caseload specifics to be confirmed.

Requirements

Physician – Anesthesiology
Board Certified, Board Eligible, or Board Expedite accepted
Active California medical license required
California DEA required
BLS required
Experience must include L&D and trauma cases


Additional requirements for submission
(All must be included in the presentation)

CA license verification copy
Board certification verification OR residency completion date (if BE)
COVID vaccination status (minimum 3 doses)
Full malpractice history disclosed
All RTO listed
Interview availability provided


Medical requirements (facility standard)

TB status
MMR: serology or vaccines
Hepatitis B: serology or vaccines
Tdap: serology or vaccine
COVID‑19 (3 vaccines)
Influenza
Pre‑employment physical (within 3 months; must be done at occupational health)
Ishihara color test
8‑panel drug screen (within 3 months)


Credentialing

Full hospital credentialing required
Estimated timeframe: 90–120 days
No emergency privileges offered
