Locums Anesthesiologist – Flexible Shifts + Call | Southern California

Job description

We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Brawley, California. This PRN assignment offers flexible scheduling with a mix of day shifts and call coverage, with ongoing opportunities available.

Assignment Details:
Start Date: July 2026
Assignment Length: July–August with potential extension into September and beyond
Coverage Type: PRN
Shift Options: 10-hour shifts, 12-hour shifts, 24-hour call shifts

The facility utilizes a two-provider call model

Practice Setting:
Hospital-based anesthesia practice
Providers manage their own operating rooms
No administrative duties
No committee meetings or non-clinical responsibilities
Case Mix: General Surgery, Obstetrics, Orthopedics, Urology, Gynecology, Pediatric Cases
Limited pediatric exposure
Typically ages 13+ and patients weighing approximately 80 pounds or more

Requirements:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Ability to participate in call coverage

Additional Information:
Client can credential in time for anticipated July start
Ongoing coverage opportunities may be available beyond the initial assignment period
