Aya Locums is seeking a Board Eligible or Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to provide ongoing locum coverage at a well-established California facility. This assignment offers a flexible mix of shifts, a supportive call structure, and the potential for continued coverage beyond the initial assignment period.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: July, 2026
• Coverage Type: 24-Hour Call Coverage
• Schedule Options: 10-hour shifts, 12-hour shifts, and 24-hour call shifts
• Night Shift Example: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Work Details
• Cases Include:
• General Surgery
• Obstetrics
• Orthopedics
• Urology
• Gynecology
• Pediatric Cases:
• Limited volume
• Typically, patients 13 years and older
• Generally, patients weighing 80 pounds or more

Clinical Responsibilities:
• Independently manage assigned operating room
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia services
• Support obstetric anesthesia coverage as needed
• EMR: Facility-specific training provided

Practice Setting
• Hospital-Based Surgical Services
• Operating Room and Obstetric Coverage
• Collaborative physician environment

Requirements
• License: Active California medical license
• Board Certification/Eligibility: Required in Anesthesiology
• Experience: Comfortable providing anesthesia across multiple surgical specialties
• Additional Skills: OB anesthesia experience strongly preferred

Credentialing: Expedited process available to meet anticipated start date
