Anesthesiologist needed near Lodi, California with flexible shifts

I have an Anesthesiologist locums need near Lodi, CA starting this fall with 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, plus 24-hour second-call coverage. The clinical side is one of the bigger draws—no Trauma, Cardiac, or other specialty cases are required at this location.

Here’s the quick rundown:

✔ Start: October / as soon as credentialed
✔ Shifts: 8s, 10s & 12s available
✔ 12-Hour: 7a–7p
✔ 10-Hour: 7a–5p
✔ 24-Hour 2nd Call: 7a–7p in OR + 7p–7a beeper
✔ Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday with occasional weekends
✔ Case Mix: General anesthesia; no Trauma or Cardiac
✔ Optional: Potential ICU or Pain work if interested
✔ Setting: 190-bed hospital with 6 ORs, including one OB room
✔ Weekends: Some weekend/call coverage as needed
✔ Assignment Length: Ongoing through December 2027
✔ Credentialing: Approximately 45–60 days
✔ EMR: Cerner with some initial paper charting
✔ Travel & Housing: Included
✔ Malpractice: A+ rated coverage with tail included
✔ Local Candidates: Accepted

What your week actually looks like

Most coverage is Monday through Friday, and the group has enough flexibility to utilize physicians across 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts depending on the schedule. This is a smaller six-OR hospital without the Trauma or Cardiac workload you'd see at a tertiary center, keeping the clinical mix more general. There is some OB coverage, and physicians who want additional variety may have the option to help with ICU or Pain work. Some weekend and call flexibility will be important, particularly for the group's 24-hour second-call rotation.
