Anesthesiologist Needed in Connecticut
Target Start Date: March 1, 2026
Contract Length: 13+ weeks (with potential extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Day shifts)
Call Details: Weeknight and weekend pager call required (6–10 call shifts per month; call back rate <10%)
Practice Details:

Small community hospital setting
Procedures: General, Ortho, OB, colorectal, cataracts, cystoscopy, ENT, GYN, podiatry, thoracic, GI, pacemakers, TEE, cardioversion
CRNA supervision required (CRNA to MD ratio: 3:4)
Number of anesthesia rooms: 5
EMR: iPro
Regular days typically wrap up around 3 PM
Friendly environment and supportive team

Requirements:

Board Certification: Required in Anesthesiology
Active Connecticut License (willing to license)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
DEA: Required
Credentialing Timeframe: 30–60 days with CT license; 60–120 days if licensing needed

Location: Putnam, Connecticut – travel support available (lodging and mileage stipend)
