Anesthesiologists needed in Hudson, FL!

Job description

Schedule: Full-time hours, Monday - Friday; plus call, Mix of 8, 10 and 12 hour shifts available Full-time hours
Weekday: 1 MD in house, attempt late start anywhere between 1p-7p. Post call day off. 2 CRNA’s on beeper call as well.
• Weekend: 1 MD in house for general coverage, 2nd MD covers CV on beeper. 2 CRNA’s on beeper call as well. Two rooms running staffed with APC.
Setting: 12 Operating Rooms / 2 Endoscopy rooms / 1 Catheter Lab
Cases: Cardiac (~300/year), Otorhinolaryngology, Neurology, Orthopedic, Thoracic, Urology, Vascular, Plastics
Credentialing timeframe: Up to 30 days
9 MDs/17 CRNA/AA’s
MD:CRNA Ratio: 1:3. Care team model. Physicians do 99% supervision. Self performing cases is uncommon. Physicians are expected to be present for Induction and Emergence, participate in post op-care, participate in pre-op evaluation of patient. This is a hands on practice.
Acute Cardiac Life Support Certification, Basic Life Support Certification, Pediatric Acute Life Safety Certification
EMR: EPIC
Must be board certified
