Locum Anesthesiologist - Jacksonville, FL - Days

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to provide locum services in Jacksonville, Florida.
This is an excellent opportunity for an anesthesiologist looking for weekday coverage in an outpatient surgical setting. Coverage begins late December 2025 and continues into 2026 with ongoing needs.

🏥 Job Details:
Case Types: Dental surgical procedures including dual full arch, single arch, and implants

Special Procedures: IV anesthesia for moderate sedation (patients not put fully under)

Excluded Cases: No pediatric patients, no cardiac or thoracic cases

Setting: Ambulatory surgery center / dental surgical suite

Schedule: Day shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM); no call required; ongoing coverage 3–5 days per week

Support: Physician-led team with two assistants

Patient Population: Adults ages 50–70

Volume: 1–3 patients per day

EMR System: Eaglesoft (no training required)

Facility Details: 2 procedure rooms in use, expanding to 4

✅ Requirements:
Board Certification required

Active Florida medical license required (not open to licensing)

DEA preferred

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum experience: 2 years preferred

📋 Credentialing:
Estimated timeframe: ~2 weeks grace period for onboarding
