Position Overview
A well-established hospital in the Jupiter / West Palm Beach, Florida area is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist for ongoing locum coverage. This is a high-quality cardiac-focused opportunity with a strong care team model and consistent case volume.
Local candidates are welcome for this assignment.

Assignment Details
Start Date: March 2026 (credentialing required)
Duration: Ongoing

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x10s)
Full-time availability required

Call:
Weekend call coverage required (Friday–Sunday)
Some weekday call as needed
Practice Model: Combination of supervision and independent practice
EMR: Epic

Case Mix
Cardiac (Primary Focus):
CABG
Valve replacements
Aortic surgery
Advanced EP ablations
Watchman procedures
TEE required

Additional Cases:
General Surgery
Orthopedics
GI
Robotics
OB (C-sections required; epidurals helpful but not required)
ENT, Neuro, Plastics, Endo
No Trauma
Average of 25–30 cardiac cases per month requiring TEE.

Collaborative care team model
CRNAs and anesthesiologists on staff
Strong clinical and administrative support

Requirements
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Completed Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship
TEE Certified
Active Florida Medical License
Active DEA
ACLS, BLS, PALS
Full-time availability

Credentialing
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
Clinical interview required as part of the process
