Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
Start Date: Flexible (May – early July start window)
End Date: Ongoing through December

Schedule:
Monday–Friday
7a–3p or 7a–5p
No call details specified

Practice Setting:
Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
298-bed hospital with 11 operating rooms
High-acuity pediatric environment with strong case volume

Clinical Focus:
Cardiac pediatric anesthesia (primary focus)
Coverage includes cardiac, non-cardiac, and cath lab cases
~200 open hearts/year, 10+ transplants, 500 caths annually
Additional exposure to general surgery, ortho, ENT, GU, and dental

Case Mix & Model:
60% high-acuity / 40% healthy patients
60/40 solo vs medically directed
Care team model: 2 CRNAs : 1 MD
50/50 medical direction

Procedures:
IV placement required
Regional anesthesia preferred (not required)
EMR: EPIC

Requirements:
Board Certified in Anesthesiology (no BE)
Pediatric Fellowship required
Minimum 2 years of experience (no new grads)
Active Florida license
ACLS, BLS, PALS

Additional Notes:
Must not have worked at this site or affiliated locations within the past 24 months
Interview required with site leadership
Must provide availability, schedule preferences, and contact details at time of submission

Compensation:
$450/hr
$500/hr OT
Travel & Lodging provided

Credentialing: 90–120 days
