Coverage: Full-time

Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Weekday beeper call: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
Weekend call: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
Provider must be willing to work at both locations
Flexibility required based on daily surgical needs
Practice Setting

Coverage is across two small community hospitals providing outpatient surgery, endoscopy, and short overnight stays.

Primary Location

Case Mix:

OB, including spinals and epidurals
Orthopedic cases and regional blocks
General surgery
TAP blocks
Bread-and-butter anesthesia

Volume & Staffing:

Approximately 5–20 cases/day
MD ratio of approximately 1:3–1:4
CRNA support
1 Anesthesia Tech
Secondary Location

Case Mix:

Outpatient surgery
Endoscopy

Staffing:

MD ratio approximately 1:5
One OR staffed by an MD on Fridays
Requirements
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Minimum 1–2 years of experience
5–10 years of experience preferred
Must be comfortable:
Performing own cases
Supervising CRNAs
OB anesthesia
Regional anesthesia/blocks
General anesthesia

• 13 weeks with option to extend
• On call required
