Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Illinois. This assignment offers a consistent schedule with optional call and exposure to a wide variety of case types.

Position Overview:
Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing
Schedule: Weekday coverage with flexible scheduling options
Setting: Hospital-based
Call: Optional

Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide anesthesia services across a range of cases including cardiac, thoracic, orthopedic, GI, general, and pediatric cases
Supervise CRNAs while also performing cases as needed
Work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Scope of Practice:
No OB or labor and delivery cases
Some GYN procedures possible
Ability to opt out of cardiac cases if preferred

Requirements:
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Active Illinois license or willingness to obtain (IMLC accepted)
DEA required
BLS required (ACLS and PALS preferred)
Epic experience required
