Specific open weeks May 2025 - December 2025

Schedule: M-W-F 6:30a-3p / T-TH 7a-3:30p - no call
Job Setting: Level II Trauma Center
# of ORs: 8

Model: On rare occasions may need to oversee CRNAs at the ASC if no cardiac cases are scheduled

Types of Cases: General and Cardiac cases with patients of all ages - Cardiac surgeries 1/day, but not every day; 5-7 general cases/day. Must help cover general if no cardiac cases.

Patient Age Demographic: Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric. Very sick children are sent to other hospitals better staffed/equipped for children.

Credentialing Timeframe: 31 to 60 days. Temps available
EMR: Some paper. Cerner moving to Epic

Requirements: TEE Certified (must be able to read, interpret, and bill TEE procedures - NOT just the placement of the probe) - Could consider experience with case logs in place of certification. Active Iowa license/IMLC letter of qualification + Board Certification
