Anesthesiologist – Ambulatory Orthopedic Surgical Center (Independent Practice)
Target Start Date: January 26, 2026
Contract Length: PRN / per‑diem assignment (additional 2026 dates expected)
Openings: 1 anesthesiologist

Schedule
Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only (no call)**

Shift Structure:

Day shifts, typically 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Current confirmed dates:

January 26, 27, 29

February 9

Additional dates anticipated throughout 2026

PRN/per‑diem flexibility

EMR: Not specified
Supervision Model: Independent practice (CRNA on site but no supervision required)

Practice Details
Setting: Ambulatory orthopedic surgical center
Patient Population: Adult orthopedic patients
OR Count: 2 operating rooms

Case Mix Includes:

Orthopedic procedures

Outpatient surgical cases

General anesthesia

Ultrasound‑guided regional anesthesia blocks (required)

Procedural Requirements:

Strong proficiency with ultrasound‑guided blocks

Ability to perform general anesthesia independently

Comfortable working solo in a 2‑OR environment

No CRNA supervision required

Support:

CRNA present on site

Standard ambulatory surgery support staff

Additional Notes:

Providers must be enrolled in the state patient compensation fund (processing time ~30 days)

Credentialing timeframe: ~30 days (may be expedited)

Requirements
Board‑certified or board‑eligible anesthesiologist

Active Kansas license required

DEA required

Strong experience with orthopedic anesthesia and ultrasound‑guided blocks

Comfortable working independently in an ambulatory setting

PRN availability for listed dates
