Anesthesiologist Needed in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania (will license)

Job description

I am working with a client in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania who is seeking four experienced anesthesiologists for locum coverage. Below are the assignment details.

Start: April

13-week assignment

8hr (7a-3p), 10hr (7a-5p), 24hr (7a-7a) shifts, plus call (no call on Fridays). Monday through Thursday for weekday call. Monday-Friday daytime shifts. 2 weeks per month.

• Frequency of any Call needed: weekday call (Mon-Thursday), 2 weeks per month.
• Schedule Details: (start / end times, days of the week, etc): Mon-Friday daytime with call but no call on Fridays

Work Details:
• Support staff: 20 CRNA who take in-house call
• Department Description:
o Call is taken from home, shared equally & allows for work/life balance.
o 24-hour CRNA in-house coverage
o Join an experienced & collegial team of 9 physicians.
o Anesthesiologists collaborate with 20 CRNAs.
o 100% CRNA medical direction.
o Busy 131-bed hospital.
o 13 ORs, 1 Hybrid OR & 2 catheterization labs.
o Anesthesiologists also supervise at a state-of-the-art ASC.
o Cases include bariatric, breast, general, gyn, orthopedic, plastic, etc. NO: trauma, neuro or cardiac.
o Experience with regional anesthesia required, heavy Orthopedic service
• Patient Volume: approx. 600 surgical cases per month with approx. 40 endo cases per month, approx. 700 deliveries a year
• Patient Age Group: 12 mos and up
• EMR/Documentation System: Epic

Requirements:
• Are Board Certifications Req’d?: Yes
• Which State License(s) Req’d?: PA
• Certifications Req’d? (BLS / ACLS / etc): BLS/ACLS
• CSR Req’d?: yes
• DEA Req’d?: yes
• Minimum Experience Req’d (# of years): NA
• Are vaccines mandatory?: yes flu
• Any additional requirements/details to screen for?: NPI & name clear

Credentialing/Privileging Timeframe: ~60-90 days
