Anesthesiologist Locum Opportunity – Northampton, MA | Weekend Coverage

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist for a hospital-based opportunity in Northampton, Massachusetts.

Setting: Acute care hospital
Location: Northampton, MA — suburban area in Western Massachusetts
Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 24-hour shifts on the 2nd and 4th weekends each month; must be able to cover all three days of each assigned weekend
Call: Required, with overnight in-house call preferred. Some coverage may be provided by phone, depending on the assigned role. The MD1 must remain onsite for epidurals, TOLAC, and high-risk obstetric patients in labor.
Cases: General, plastics, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, OB, and healthy pediatric cases
Practice model: Independent practice, with some CRNA supervision depending on the assigned role
Skills: OB proficiency required; regional anesthesia and pediatric blocks strongly preferred
Requirements: Massachusetts medical license, ACLS, BLS, DEA, and board certification or eligibility
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Travel: All-inclusive arrangement
