# Locum Anesthesiologist Opportunity | Northampton, Massachusetts

Join a clinical team in Northampton, Massachusetts, for a locum anesthesiology assignment offering a consistent weekday schedule, independent practice, and a diverse case mix. This opportunity is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist with strong regional anesthesia skills who is comfortable managing adult and healthy pediatric patients.

## ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW
- **Location:** Northampton, Massachusetts
- **Start Date:** January 4, 2027
- **End Date:** August 6, 2027
- **Assignment Type:** Locum Tenens
- **Credentialing Timeline:** Approximately 90 days
- **Minimum Commitment:** 3 weeks per month

## SCHEDULE
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- No call or weekend shifts specified
- Full-time schedule during committed weeks

## CLINICAL PRACTICE
- Independent practice with no supervision
- Assignment in the operating room or endoscopy
- Patient population includes adults and healthy pediatric patients
- Case mix includes general anesthesia, plastics, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, and endoscopy
- Regional anesthesia and nerve blocks strongly preferred, including pediatric blocks
- Endoscopy coverage requires comfort managing approximately 16–20 cases per day
- EMR: Epic

## REQUIREMENTS
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active Massachusetts medical license
- Massachusetts DEA registration
- BLS and ACLS certifications

- Regional anesthesia and block skills strongly preferred
- Ability to independently manage healthy pediatric cases
