Aya Locums is seeking a qualified Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for an exciting locum tenens opportunity at a Level I academic trauma center in Massachusetts. This hospital-based position offers a variable case mix, a blend of solo anesthesia and CRNA supervision, and flexible scheduling options for the right candidate.

🗓️ Schedule
• Shift Options: 10- or 12-hour days
• Available Shifts: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Scheduling Options:
o 1 week per month, if licensing requirements and coverage needs permit
o 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
o 3–4 weeks per month
o Full-time
• Schedule is flexible and open for discussion with candidates.
• Candidates requiring a new Massachusetts license must be available to work 3–4 weeks per month or full-time.

• Patient Population: Adults, ages 18–80
• Patient Volume: Variable
• Case Mix: Variable
• Anesthesia Practice: Combination of independent solo work and supervision of CRNAs
• Required Skills: Regional anesthesia
• Excluded Cases: No cardiac, OB, or pediatric anesthesia
• EMR/Anesthesia Information System: Cerner and MetaVision AIS

✅ Requirements
• Board-certified in Anesthesiology
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Active Massachusetts medical license preferred; candidates licensed in surrounding states may be considered
• Licensing assistance available for qualified candidates
• DEA registration required
• Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) required
