Facility:
This well-established hospital is a high-acuity facility featuring 15 operating rooms and serves as a Level 2 Trauma Center with a Level 1 Pediatric designation. The facility operates under an excellent physician-led model supported by a collaborative CRNA group and a dedicated team of Daily Anesthesia Assistants, creating a strong and supportive environment for locum providers.

Physician - Anesthesiology

Job Details:

  • Requesting full-time coverage with flexible 8-10 hour shifts, days with call options available
  • Full week coverage 1-2 times per month or 40+ hour work week preferred
  • Options to provide coverage at the Ambulatory Surgery Center
  • Patient encounters per shift vary depending on case load across 15 operating rooms
  • Must be Board Certified in Anesthesiology with active MN license or IMLC
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
  • Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS
  • Surgical coverage includes: Cardiac, Complete Ortho, Complex Vascular, Head/Spine, Neuro, OB, Pediatric, Regional, and Thoracic
  • Administer General Anesthesia for Adult, Pediatric, Neonatal, and Trauma patients
  • Perform Spinal, Epidural, and Regional Anesthesia
  • Manage Obstetrical and Neurosurgical cases including Head and Spine
  • Perform Open Heart and Thoracic Anesthesia
  • Handle Complex Vascular and Complex Orthopedic cases
  • Apply pain management techniques including post-op epidural and extremity blocks
  • Perform Epidural Steroid injections for Lumbar and Cervical regions
  • Perform Transforaminal procedures for Lumbar and Cervical regions
  • Utilize x-ray guidance in performance of blocks
  • Manage ventilation and evaluate acute volume/BP issues
  • Perform Central Line, Arterial Line, and PA Catheter placements
  • Provide CRNA supervision
  • Assignment is ASAP through ongoing

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
