About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a supervision model during day shifts, 24-hour shifts, and call coverage at an inpatient and outpatient facility in Mississippi. The surgical case mix includes ENT, Eyes, General Surgery, Orthopedic, Urology, and OB procedures, with the facility averaging approximately one delivery per day. Anesthesia techniques include epidurals, neuraxial anesthesia, regional anesthesia, single-shot interscalene blocks for shoulder surgery (no catheter placements), and occasional regional blocks as clinically indicated. Board certification in Anesthesiology is required, and call coverage is required for this assignment.
