Cardiac Anesthesiologist Locum Opportunity | St. Louis, MO

Join a premier cardiac anesthesia team at Mercy Hospital St. Louis for a high-acuity locum assignment focused on complex adult cardiac cases in a collaborative care team environment.

6-month assignment with option to extend
Start ASAP after credentialing
Credentialing: 90–120 days
Consistent 1–2 week/month block scheduling considered

Schedule
Monday-Friday
6:30 AM arrival, cases begin at 7:00 AM
Typical day ends between 3:00–5:00 PM
8-hour daily guarantee
No required call (optional beeper call available)

Cases & Practice Model
Cardiac-focused practice, Open hearts, TAVR, Watchman, and structural heart procedures, Aortic surgery, ECMO, Thoracic and major vascular cases
Robotic hybrid coronary revascularization
Medical direction model with a mix of personally performed cases and directing CRNAs/CAAs
EMR: Epic

Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist
Cardiothoracic fellowship required
Strong TEE skills required (formal certification not required)
Comfortable with arterial lines, central lines, and advanced cardiac anesthesia
Missouri license required (licensing reimbursement available)
ACLS required

Travel
Travel, hotel, and rental car reimbursed
