Facility:
This is a 187-bed Level 1 Trauma and Academic Medical Center featuring 15 main operating rooms, 3 endoscopy suites, and 2 EP labs. The facility provides comprehensive cardiovascular services including TEE, invasive and non-invasive cardiology, neuro IR, and obstetrics, maintaining a strong reputation for cardiac care with 360-450 cardiac cases annually.

Anesthesiology - Cardiac

Job Details:
• Provide cardiac anesthesiology services for open heart, thoracic, vascular and structural heart cases
• Cover general anesthesia cases as needed in addition to specialized cardiac procedures
• Must be TEE certified with cardiac anesthesiology fellowship required
• Handle 360-450 cardiac cases per year working with 2 cardiac surgeons on staff
• Perform hands-on cases with occasional CRNA supervision responsibilities
• Work Monday through Friday 8-10 hour days with unrestricted overnight and weekend call
• Adult and geriatric patients only - no pediatric care required
• Must have completed ACGME or international equivalent CV anesthesia fellowship
• Required to achieve testamur status in Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography (NBE)
• Alternative qualification: minimum 5 years documented CV anesthesia experience with recommendation letters
• Nebraska license highly preferred or IMLC acceptable
• Board certification in cardiac anesthesia and TEE required
• Clean malpractice and background history highly preferred
• EPIC EMR system utilized
• Credentialing timeframe 60-90 days
• ASAP start preferred with ongoing availability through December 2026
