Anesthesiologist Needed in Carson City, NV

Start: June

26-week assignment

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Call Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Rotation: 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Call Schedule: OR call rotated equally among providers while on assignment

Call Response Time: 20 minutes

Cardiac experience: Preferred

Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 120 days

Licensure requirements: Active NV license required before credentialing can begin; NV CSR and DEA required

Supervision model: Physicians supervise CRNAs and also perform their own cases (majority of cardiac cases handled by physicians)

Required case experience: Cardiac, general surgery, orthopedics, OB, urology, GI, podiatry, healthy pediatrics, ENT, neuro, vascular, and thoracic

Procedural proficiency: Must be proficient in spinals, blocks, and epidurals

Case logs: Required – documentation of epidurals, spinals, and blocks must be provided

Staffing (Daytime): 3 MDs and 10 CRNAs

OR availability:

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM: 11 sites (including OB)

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: 5 sites (including OB)

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM: 3 sites (including OB)

Endoscopy rooms: 1

CV room: 1

Cath lab: 1

EMR system: Epic
