Anesthesiologist Needed in Western Nevada Near the Sierra Region
Start Date: June 2026
Contract Length: 26 weeks (ongoing)

Schedule

Day shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Call required: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Rotation: 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off
The on‑call physician works 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Call rotation shared equally among physicians
Call response time: 20 minutes
Select date blocks available throughout 2026 (full list available upon request)


Practice Details

Acute care hospital setting
MDs supervise CRNAs and perform their own cases
Mix of general and specialty cases
EPIC EMR
Approximately 3 MDs and 10 CRNAs scheduled during the day
Multiple active ORs operating across the day (including OB, endoscopy, cardiac, and cath lab rooms)


Clinical Scope
Case types include:

Cardiac
General surgery
Orthopedics
OB
Urology
GI
ENT
Neuro
Vascular
Thoracic
Podiatry
Healthy pediatrics
Proficiency required: spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks

Case logs required for blocks, spinals, and epidurals.

Requirements

Physician – Anesthesiology
Board Certified
Active Nevada medical license required (no licensing offered)
Nevada DEA and Nevada CSR required
Experience performing solo and supervised anesthesia care
Ability to take call and maintain 20‑minute response time
Must be comfortable with cardiac cases (experience preferred)


Credentialing

Estimated timeframe: ~120 days
Credentialing begins only after Nevada license is active
Standard hospital onboarding required


Location
Western Nevada — hospital setting in an adjacent community near the Sierra region.
