Anesthesiologist Needed Near Westchester County, NY
Start Date: As soon as credentialed (60–90 days)
Contract Length: 20 weeks (potential ongoing)

Schedule

Monday–Friday
8‑hour, 10‑hour, or 12‑hour shifts

8s: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
10s: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
12s: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM


Unpaid lunch
No weekends
No call
Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days


Practice Details

Hospital environment with high‑volume OR workload
Medical direction model; anesthesiologists supervise CRNAs
41 anesthesia rooms
CRNA‑to‑MD ratio: 3:1
Case mix includes:

General surgery
Ortho
Gyn
Neuro
ENT
Vascular
GI


No trauma, no transplant, no cardiac, no pediatrics
EMR: Epic


Clinical Scope
Case responsibilities include:

General OR anesthesia
Standard pre‑op, intra‑op, and post‑op anesthesia care
Airway management and anesthetic adjustments
CRNA supervision
MDs may perform their own cases as needed

Experience:

Broad general anesthesia experience required

Caseload details available upon request.

Requirements

Physician – Anesthesiology
Board Certified required
Active New York medical license required (must be in hand at submission)
DEA required
BLS required
Epic experience preferred
Will not license


Additional Requirements for Submission

Full presentation required
Home address confirmation (worksite must be >60 miles from home)
If provider is already in system, a share request may be required

Locals accepted.

Medical Requirements

COVID vaccination (status must be disclosed)
Influenza vaccine
TB status
MMR (labs or vaccines)
Hepatitis B (labs or vaccines)
Tdap
Pre‑employment physical within 3 months
Ishihara color test
8‑panel drug screen


Credentialing

Full hospital credentialing
Estimated timeframe: 60–90 days
Multiple steps in system; allow 5–7 business days for presentation review
Compliance documents must be submitted by required deadlines
