Anesthesiology Locums – Queens, NY | GI Endoscopy

An established outpatient practice in Flushing, Queens is seeking two Board Certified Anesthesiologists for GI/endoscopy coverage. This is a physician-led setting where Anesthesiologists perform their own cases with no CRNA supervision, and the Flushing location frequently has shorter days with cases wrapping up around 2–3 PM.

Schedule & Work Environment
• 1–2 days per week
• 8- or 10-hour shifts as needed
• Approximately 32 weeks of coverage
• GI/endoscopy suites
• 2 anesthesia rooms
• Anesthesiologists perform their own cases
• No CRNA supervision
• Epic and iPro Lite
• Hours are not guaranteed

Additional Scheduling Potential

The practice has additional locations in Bethpage, Valley Stream and Brooklyn. Physicians who want more coverage may have the option to become privileged at multiple sites, making it possible to build additional days into their schedule.

Requirements
• Board Certified Anesthesiologist
• Active New York license required
• Comfortable independently managing GI/endoscopy anesthesia
• Approximately 30-day privileging timeframe

This assignment is especially well suited for a New York Anesthesiologist looking to supplement an existing schedule with straightforward outpatient GI cases and limited weekly commitment.
